From the relocation desk to his own brokerage
Before opening Pointe Advantage in Grosse Pointe Park, Jacob ran the relocation and referral division for one of the largest brokerages in Michigan, a RealTrends 500 firm operating under the Coldwell Banker and Century 21 brands across Southeast and Central Michigan. In that role he was the person national relocation companies called when a transferee needed to be taken care of, and he learned exactly what separates the agents who earn repeat referrals from the ones who don’t. It comes down to communication, follow-through, and treating a referred client like the most important one you have.
That is the standard he brings to every buyer and seller he works with now. Whether it is a first-time buyer trying to get into the Park, a relocating employee arriving from out of state, or a seller who wants a clean, well-run sale on a lakefront property, Jacob handles the details personally and keeps clients informed at every step.
Over his career, Jacob has closed more than $50 million in residential and commercial transactions. Earlier, as National Sales Manager for RHP Properties, the nation’s largest privately held owner and operator of manufactured-home communities, he led the national Own It! rental-conversion program, which helps renters in RHP communities become homeowners.
Jacob began his career at his family’s brokerage in Marshall, Michigan, and is a graduate of Albion College. He lives in Grosse Pointe Park with his family, and when he is not showing houses, you will find him on the golf course, wrenching on one of his project cars, or hanging out with his son.
