Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Pointe Advantage LLC collects, uses and shares the personal information you give us through this website, our registration and application forms, and our portals.

What we collect

Contact details (name, email, mobile phone); details about your move (buying or selling, where you live now and where you're moving, the address of a home you're selling, price range, timeline, pre-approval status and whether you're already working with an agent); for Member Registration, your work email and organization; for briefing requests, your name, title, work contact details and organization; for agents, license, brokerage and production details, and the details of any organization contact you introduce to us; records of your transaction and cash back (such as purchase or sale price, closing date and cash back amount); an automated estimate of your home's value from a property-data provider, if you're selling; signed agreements; and messages you send us. Our servers also log technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time).

How we use it

To confirm eligibility, introduce you to a partner agent, follow your transaction, calculate and document your cash back, keep the records brokerage law requires, and communicate with you. We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

  • The partner agent and brokerage we introduce you to.
  • If you registered through an organization's program, that organization's program contacts. They see your name and contact details, whether you're buying or selling, where you live now and the area you're moving to, your timeline and price range, your progress and expected closing date, your partner agent's name, updates that we and your partner agent share with them, and, once recorded, your home's purchase or sale price and the amount and status of your cash back. They don't see your agent's commission, any referral or other fee, your loan, credit or income details, or your conversations with your agent. Because your cash back is 20% of your agent's commission, they can work out the commission from the cash back amount.
  • Your lender, title company or closing agent, when needed to document your credit.
  • Service providers that run our platform (hosting and database, email delivery, and electronic signature through DocuSign), who may use it only to provide services to us.
  • A property-data provider, which receives only the street address of a home you're selling (never your name or contact details) and returns an automated value estimate. We ask it not to log the address, but its terms let it use data from our requests to run and improve its service.
  • Regulators or others when the law requires it.

Calls, texts and email

When you submit one of our forms, you agree to be contacted as follows.

  • Registrations. By registering, you agree that Pointe Advantage and the partner agent we introduce may call, text and email you about your registration and your move, including at the mobile number you give us. Agreeing isn't a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time, or email info@pointeadvantage.com to change how we contact you.
  • Briefing requests, organization introductions and agent applications. By submitting, you agree that Pointe Advantage may contact you by phone and email about this request.

Cookies and Do Not Track

This site uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies and don't track you across other sites, so we don't change our practices in response to browser Do Not Track signals.

How long we keep it

As long as needed to serve you and as long as brokerage record-keeping rules require, then we delete it.

Your choices

Email us to ask for a copy of your information, a correction or deletion. We'll respond within 45 days. We may keep records the law requires us to keep.

Changes

We'll post any change here and update the date above. If we change how we share your information in a material way, we'll email registered users before it takes effect.
