Pointe Advantage helps home buyers and sellers keep more of their money. It introduces clients to vetted partner agents in its national network and stays with each client until their purchase or sale closes. Part of the agent’s commission comes back to the client as cash back, usually as a credit on the closing statement, subject to lender approval and state law; not available in every state. - When Jacob Davis represents a client through Pointe Advantage LLC, cash back comes from the commission Pointe Advantage LLC earns on the transaction. With a partner agent, it comes from the referral fee that agent’s brokerage owes Pointe Advantage. Pointe Advantage never bills the clients it introduces to partner agents, or the organizations that offer it.
- For organizations
- No setup fee, subscription or per-person charge, and nothing runs through payroll. Organizations that offer Pointe Advantage to their people receive no payment or other compensation. Read the employer guide

About the founder
Jacob “JD” Davis founded Pointe Advantage LLC after running the relocation and referral division at one of Michigan’s largest brokerages. There, national relocation companies introduced transferring employees to an agent, held the agent to a standard and collected a referral fee when the purchase or sale closed. Most buyers and sellers never got that care, and the referral fee their introduction produced never came back to them. Pointe Advantage gives every client the same care, and part of the referral fee comes back to them at closing.
Jacob has been licensed in Michigan since 2015. From 2020 to 2024 he led RHP Properties’ national rental-conversion program, which helps renters become homeowners. He still represents buyers and sellers personally across the Grosse Pointes, St. Clair Shores and Detroit’s east side. He is a graduate of Albion College.
